The "To Be or What
to Be?" seminars set out to show students that the world does
have a future and that
there are great opportunities to participate in that future. However,
careers in the future
are going to be different from those in the past and the career-planning methods
of a generation ago are obsolete and will not suffice for this generation.
During the second
part of this fast-paced seminar, students (and parents) are guided
through our workbooks
which will lead them to an understanding of their personalities
through the use of the
Holland Coding. Participants also have the opportunity to evaluate
their career-related
motivations thereby giving them a good foundation for their career
exploration voyage. This can also be directly correlated with a student’s Holland Code.
